1. Agreement to These Terms
These terms govern your use of shiftbusinessadvisory.com and your registration for programs offered by The SHIFT Advisory ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or registering for a program, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be of legal age in your state of residence to register.
2. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any lawful reason, at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our programs, materials, or services without our express written permission.
3. Registration and Payment
Seats in The Founder Series are limited and are allocated in the order registrations are received. Your seat is held once payment is complete. Registration for the Fall 2026 cohort is $697 for the complete five-part series.
A $99 downpayment may instead be made to hold a place in the 2027 cohort. It secures the founder price available at the time of payment and is credited in full toward that registration. Dates, format, and location for 2027 are confirmed later, and holders are notified before the cohort opens publicly.
Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details. An instalment option may be offered at checkout through a third-party provider such as Klarna. That arrangement is between you and that provider, on their terms, and your seat is confirmed once the plan is approved. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and keeping it current. We may refuse or cancel any order.
Prices are stated in United States dollars and may change at any time before you register. The price you are charged is the price shown at checkout.
4. Refunds, Transfers, and Cancellation
If we cancel the series, your registration payment is refunded in full.
Registration is otherwise non-refundable, because seats are capped at twenty and holding one removes it from another founder.
Registration is fully transferable. You may nominate another person to take your seat at any time before the series begins by emailing us their name and contact details. We may also be able to transfer your registration to a future cohort, subject to availability.
The 2027 downpayment is likewise non-refundable and fully transferable. If the 2027 cohort does not proceed, it is refunded in full.
Missing an individual session does not entitle you to a partial refund. Materials for any session you miss will be sent to you.
Group rates are available for three or more registrations and are arranged directly with us before payment.
5. Programs and Changes to Them
Dates, times, venue, session order, and facilitators are as currently planned and may change. We will notify registered participants of any change as early as we can. Venue is confirmed after registration opens and is communicated directly to participants.
We may substitute a facilitator of comparable expertise if an advisor becomes unavailable.
6. Participant Conduct
Programs are working sessions in a small room. We ask that you engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants and keep what other founders share about their businesses confidential. We may remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, harassing, or unsafe, without refund.
7. Accuracy of Information
We work to keep the information on this site current and accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or error free. Material on this site is provided for general information and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for a business decision.
8. Intellectual Property
The Founder Series, including its concept, curriculum, structure, branding, assessments, frameworks, presentations, Growth Playbooks, workshop materials, and related intellectual property, is and remains the property of The SHIFT Advisory and its contributing advisors.
Materials provided to you are licensed for your own use inside your own business. You may not reproduce, distribute, teach, license, or resell them, in whole or in part, without written permission.
Recording of sessions by participants is not permitted without prior written consent.
9. No Guarantee of Results
Our programs provide education, frameworks, and facilitated implementation. We do not guarantee any specific business, revenue, or financial result. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your market, your execution, and your circumstances. Nothing in our programs constitutes legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice.
10. Comments, Feedback, and Submissions
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation and are under no obligation to keep them confidential. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.
11. Third-Party Links and Tools
This site links to and embeds third-party services, including our form and payment providers. Those are provided as is, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this site or our programs for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to transmit malicious code, to scrape or harvest data, to interfere with security features, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The site and our programs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms, the site, or any program is limited to the amount you paid us for that program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The SHIFT Advisory and its advisors, contractors, and partners from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
16. Termination
These terms remain in effect unless terminated by either of us. We may terminate your access at any time if you fail to comply with them. Obligations incurred before termination survive it.
17. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any registration terms presented at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version here. It is your responsibility to check periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of them.
